Common Name Dewilde's Pleurothallis [Colombian Orchid Enthusaist current]
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in Risaralda Colombia in cloud forests at elevations around 1800 to 2200 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with stout, erect ramicauls with a close tubular sheath below the middle and 2 others at the base and carrying a single, horizontal, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, acuminate, cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the spring on a fascile of msuccessively single, few flowered inflorescence arising and concealed within a spathe at the base of the leaf and has a tubular floral bract.
