Common Name The Cow Tongue Pleurothallis [refers to the curved labellum]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Colombia with no collection data as a large sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular basal sheaths and another below the middle and carrying a single, apical, horizontal to deflexed, coriaceous, narrowly cordate-ovate, acute, acuminate, sessile and deeply cordate below leaf that blooms in the fall on a fascile of solitary, successive flowers arising through a slender, reclining spathe.
