Common Name The Longitudinaly Striped Sepal Trisetella

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations of 1900 to 2100 meters with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 thin, tubular sheaths carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, bluish green-purplish beneath, narrowly elliptical, acute to subacute leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, slender, smooth, congested, racemose inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a succession of 2 to 3 single flowers.
