Common Name The Very Thin Trisetella [refers to the leaves and flowers]

Found in Panama and the western cordillera of Colombia at elevations of 400 to 1200 meters as mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute to subacute apically leaf that blooms in the fall through spring on a filiform, erect, smooth, .8 to 1.12" [2 to 2.8 cm] long, congested, successively single, 3 to 5, flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract below the middle .
