Common Name Dressler's Trisetella [American Botanist current]

Found in Panama in cloudforests at elevations of 650 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 thin, tubular sheaths carrying a single, apical, thickly coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute leaf that is narrowly cuneate below into the base that can bloom at any time of the year on an erect, slender, smooth, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, racemose inflorescence witha succession of single flowers. succession of single flowers.
