Common Name The Bristly Trichosalpinx [refers to the lip]

Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations of 1200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with more or less ascending to descending, slender, more or less flexuous ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 12 lepanthiform sheaths with long, oblique, dilated, ciliate ostia and carrying a single, apical, suberect to pendent, coricaeous, elliptical to narrolwy elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a pendent, loose, distichous, filiform, .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] long including the .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously several flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul
