Found in southern Ecuador without locational data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect then pendent, flexible, flexuous, lax, to 7.2" [to 18 cm] long including the 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously 1 to 3, many flowered inflorescence arising from an annulus with oblique, acute floral bracts.
