Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul neveloped by 2, loose sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, lanceolate, fainly conduplicate, fleshy, yellow green, narrowing below intothe petioalte base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on a 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the apex of the ramicaul.
