Found in Venezuela in rainforests at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, leathery, ovate, rounded apically, abruptly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, strict, distichous, to 6” [to 15 cm] long including the .8" [2 cm] long peduncle, mostly simultaneously many flowered inflorescence.
