Found in Valle Colombia in cloud forests at elevations around 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped mostly by 2 loose, brown tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse, tridenticulate, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer on a erect, slightly fractiflex, 3.4” [8.5 cm] long including the 1” [2.5 cm] long peduncle, successively to 8 flowered inflorescence with narrowly infundibular floral bracts.
