Found in Morona-Santiago Ecuador at elevations of 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a descending to pendent, lax, 3.2” [to 8 cm] long, successsivly and distantly several flowered inflorescence arising from the apex of the ramicaul and has oblique infundibular, acute floral bracts.
