Found in the Bolivar Ecuador in wet forests at elevations around 1250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to acute, cuneatebelow into the slender petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an horizontal to descending, slender, smooth, 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long, loose, flexuous, successively single, several flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul.
