Found in Coban province of Guatemala at elevations around 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 6 brown sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, ovate, orbicular below, tridentate apically leaf that blooms in the winter on a fascile of short, to 1" [2.5 cm] long, successively single, to 12 flowered inflorescence.
