Found in Ecuador without locality as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 7, thin, white, loose, oblique, acute, compressed, brown speckled, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-ovate, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a slender, erect, 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm] long, fascile of successively single flowered inflorescence with a thin, tubular floral bract.
