Found in Colombia without collection data as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, stour ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheaths and another at the base and carrying a single, erect, thickly coriaceous, ellitpoical, obtuse, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, densely pubescent, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, congested, successively single, racemose inflorescencearising from low on the ramicaul and has imbricating, tubular floral bracts,
