Common Name The Alien Pleurothallis [refers to the plant habit]

Found in Boyaca department of Colombia in scrub cloud forests at elevations around 3200 meters mini-miniature sized, prolific, cold growing epiphyte with an elongate, creeping rhizome giving rise to erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 basal sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 1" [2.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
