Common Name Wagner's Pleurothallis [German Botanist collected in Guatemala 1800's]

Found from Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru as a miniature, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 1700 to 2250 meters with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 thin, tubular sheaths carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, obtuse to rounded, subpetiolate leaf that is narrowly cuneate into the conduplicate, subpetiolate base that blooms on a subdense, secund, simultaneously several flowered, 2 2/5" to 4" [6 to 10 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with oblique floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
