Found in Morona-Santiago provi9nce of Ecuador at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early fall on a suberect, flexible, loose, to .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long including the .4" [1 cm] long peduncle, loose, successively few flowered inflorescence arising from near the middle of the ramicaul.
