Common Name The Simulating Pleurothallis [refers to the column and lip's resemblance to Stelis in the Authors eyes]

Found in Panama around 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 1 to 2 close, tubular sheaths and another below the middle and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, purple suffused below, narrowly elliptical, acute, sessile, narrowly cuneate below into the base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a slender, .35" to .4" [9 to 10 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the base of the leaf and carries a non-resupinate flower.
