Common Name or Meaning Perry's Pleurothallis [One of the original discoverers of this species]

Found in Ecuador in extremely wet montane forests at elevations of 230 to 1100 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped basally by 1 or 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apically deflexed, cordate, acute leaf that blooms throughout the year on a very short, from the base of the leaf, through a sheathing bract, successively single several flowered inflorescence with one or two flowers produced at a time.
