Common Name or Meaning The Papule-Bearing Pleurothallis [refers to the coarsly pubescent sepals]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Bolivia at elevations around 2500 to 3300 meters as a miniature to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect, slender to stout ramicaul enveloped by a tubular sheath near the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring and summer on 1 to 2, loose, subsecund, .08" [12 to 27 cm] long including the 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously many flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe from an annulus below the apex of the ramicaul.
