Common Name or Meaning The Large Egg Bearing Pleurothallis [refers to the ovary]

Found in Napo Ecuador at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped with by 1 to 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse to subacute, cuneate below into the ill defined petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a congested, .2 to .6" [5 to 15 mm] long including the .12 to .2" [3 to 5 mm] long peduncle, successively several flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
