Common Name The Giant Tongued Pleurothallis

Found in Ecuador at elevations around 1400 to 2900 meters as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a close tubular shheath an the lower third and 2 other at the base and carrying a single, apical, suberect, coriaceous, narrowly linear-ovate, acute, rounded, sessile, shallowly cordate base leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on a fascile of .03" [1 mm] long, successive single flowered inflorescence arising from a narrow spathe and held on top of the leaf and has tuublar floral bracts.
