Found in Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina at elevations of 1700 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls carrying a single, terete, fleshy, linear leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence
