Found in Cuzco Peru at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a close, tubular sheath below the middle and 2 others at the base and carrying a single, suberect to spreading, coriaceous, ovate, acute, cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the winter and again in the summer on a .2 to .24" [5 to 6 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising and enveloped by a reclining spathe at the base of the leaf with tubular floral bracts.
