Common Name The Lobed Tongue Pleurothallis [refers to the lateral lobes of the lip]

Found in Espirito Santo Brazil at elevations around 750 to 900 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect, very short, cylindrical ramicauls enveloped by a glabrous sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, shortly notched apically, attenuate below into the pseudo-petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, filiform erect, strongly fractiflex, 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the apex of the ramicaul
