Common Name The Hairless Pleurothallis [refers to the glabrous lip]

Found in Zamora-Chinchipe Ecuador at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 2, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, filiform, subflexuous, to 4.8" [to 12 cm] long including the 1.2" to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long peduncle, loose, successively several flowered inflorescence with a thin floral bract.
