Found in Peru without elevational data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 3 to 4, close, ribbed, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, purple suffused, elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, congested, flexuous, .4 to 1.4" [1 to 3.5 cm] long including the .4 to .6" [ 1 to 1.5 cm] long peduncle, successively single, many flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul with an acute floral bract.
