Found in Venezuela at elevations around 100 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect to suberect, slender ramicauls enveloped by a thin tubular sheath in the lower half and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect to pendent, thickly coriaceous, rigid, narrowly elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the late summer through fall on a congested, .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long including the .16" [4 mm] long, peduncle, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the base of the leaf and has a tubular floral bract.
