Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Mexico in lower montane rainforests and cloud forests at elevations of 1000 to 1970 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 loose tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, broadly cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the later winter and early spring on an erect to arching .6" [1.5 cm] long including the .28" [7mm] long peduncle, distichous, simultaneously 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the base of the leaf.
