Common Name Endres' Pleurothallis [Costa Rican Orchid Collector and Illustrator 1800's]

Found in Guatemala and Costa Rica without collection data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with ramicauls enveloped at the base by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical to narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a lateral, .2" [5 mm] long, successively 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence and has infundibular floral bracts.

" Distinguished by the repent habit, erect, elliptical leaf borne by a much shorter ramicaul from which a short, successively few flowered inflorescence arises as seen in P polygnoides. The dorsal sepal is free but the laterals are connate basally. The sepals are narrow and ciliate, the petals are oblong and serrate towards the apex and the narrowly ovate lip is denticulate with a bifurcated callus below the middle and bilobulated at the base."
