Found in Norte de Santander Colombia at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls with 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the indistinct petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a horizontal, to 2.8" [7 cm] long including the .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] long peduncle, more or less creeping, loose, flexuous, successively single, several flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul.
