Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on an erect, arising from near the apex of the ramicaul, peduncle slender, ca. 2" [5 cm] long, a loose, flexuous, long-pedicellate to 4" [10 cm] long overall, successively single, 8 to 10 flowered inflorescecnce, with shorter than the pedicels floral bracts.
