Found in the Dominican Republic as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with stout, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, denticulate-erose margins, cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on an erect, .1 to .12" [2 to 3 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with an oblique floral bract.
