Common Name or Meaning The Cusco Pleurothallis

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Cuzco department of Peru at elevations around 2200 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a close, tubular below the middle carrying a single, suberect, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, sessile, cuneate, very shallowly cordate base leaf that blooms in the late summer on a peduncle .04" [1 mm] long, totally concealed within a reclining spathe, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with thin, tubular, slightly shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.

Related to P microglossa but P cuzcoensis differs in the broad, elliptical leaf that is cuneate basally
