Found in Brazil as a miniature sized epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, compressed, obovate, acute leaf that is cunaete below into the petiole and blooms on a several flowered 3/4" [2 cm] long inflorescence.
