Found Sao Paulo and Parana States of Brazil in primary montane forests at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with adnate to the substrate, spread like a hand of cards, 10 to 20, dark olive-green, acute, fleshy, narrowly obovate, faintly conduplicate, finely attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the summer on 1 to 2, erect, .24 to .4" [.6 to 1 cm] long, alternate, successively single, 2 to 3 flowered inflorscence arising through a spathe.
