Common Name or Meaning The Condor-Like Pleurothallis [refers to it's occuring in the Cordillera del Condor in Ecuador]

Found in Ecuador and Peru in cloud forests at elevations around 1450 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect to suberect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 sheaths and with a bract below the middle and carrying a single, rigid, coriaceous, ovate, acute leaf with the base narrowly cordate to obtuse that blooms on a fascile of sucessively single flowered, 2" [5 cm] long inflorescence arising from a reclining spathe.
