Found in Rio De Janeiro and Parana' states of Brazil in primary cloud forests, swamp forests and along river banks on moss covered trees at elevations of 1100 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 trumpet shaped sheaths and carrying a single, apcail, erect, coriaceous, light green, lanceolate, attenuate below intothe short pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a zig-zag, 2 to 2.4” [5 to 6 cm] long, simultaneosuly to 5, 7 flowered inflorescence
