Found in Colombia and Venezuela at elevations of 1350 to 1850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, ribbed sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring, summer and fall on a lax, flexuous, 2 to 4.4" [5 to 11 cm] long including the .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] long, peduncle, successively many flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul.
