Found in Oaxaca Mexico without collection data as a miniature sized presumably epiphytic orchid with a stout, erect ramicaul enveloped by 3 loose, tubular, spotted sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, elliptical-obovate, obtuse, cuneate below into the subsessile base leaf that blooms on a thick, .04" [1 mm] long, abbreviated, congested, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence arising through a broad, loose, spotted spathe from the apex of the ramicaul and has an inflated, minutely pubescent floral bract
