Found in Sao Paulo state of Brazil in humid virgin rain forests on tree trunks and branches as well as rock faces at elevations of 1300 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 3 dark brown sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, flat, lanceolate, faintly conduplicate, yellow green, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on a 4.8” [12 cm] long, fractiflex, simultaneously to 9 flowered inflorescence.
