Common Name or Meaning The Narrow Sepal Pleurothallis

Found from Chiapas stae of Mexico, Belize and Guatemala on the gulf slope in wet montane rainforests and elfin forests at elevations of 800 to 1350 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, with 2 internodes, dilated and slightly compressed towards the apex ramicaule enveloped basally by tubular, funnel-shaped sheath and carrying a single, apical, arcuate to pendant, sessile, oblong-elliptic to lanceolate, acuminate apically, gradually narrows below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a fascile of simultaneous, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence holding the distichous flowers close to the apex of the ramicaul.
