Found in Para' state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apcial, erect, coriaceous, elliptic-obovate, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, subdense, 1.2" to 4" [3 to 10 cm] long including the slender, .8 to 2" [2 to 5 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously opening, many flowered, racemose inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul with thin, inflated floral bracts.
