Found in Guatemala near Mozatenanque as mini-miniature sized, epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by a tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, subacute, cuneate below into the subsessile base leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, subcongested, filiform, to 4.8" [12 cm] long including the .72 to 1" [1.8 to 2.5 cm] long peduncle, successively few to many flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul with oblique acute floral bracts.
