Common Name The Little Spotted Myoxanthus

Found in southern Brazil at elevations around 670 to 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect to ascending, stout ramicauls enveloped basally by 4 to 7 tubular, hispidous sheaths and carries a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptic-ovate, acute leaf that is cuneate below into the subpetiolate base that blooms in the spring on a fascile of single, successive flowers arising at the apex of the ramicaul with slightly pubescent peduncles and floral bracts.
