Found in Magdalena department of Colombia? [Possibly Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta] without locational and elevational data as a miniature to small sized epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, gradually narrowing below into the indistinct petiolate base leaf that blooms in the on a thick, stout, erect, triquetrous, 5.6" [14 cm] long, congested, , successively single flowered inflorescence arising from the base of the ramicaul with imbricating tubular floral bracts and carrying the flowers at 2/3's height of the leaf.
