Found in Colombia without collection data as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped absally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, the base narrowed into the channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, triquetrous, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, congested, successively or simultaneously 2 flowered inflorescence with a bract at the base and arising from low on the ramicaul and has imbricating, tubular floral bracts.
