Found in Peru without collection data as a small sized, epiphyte with erect, stout ramicauls enveloped by a 2 to 3 loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, linear-elliptic, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, strong, triquetrous, 10" [25 cm] long, subcongested, successively few flowered inflorescence subtended by a bract near the base, arising from low on the ramicaul with tubular floral bracts and holding the flower above the leaf.
