Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador without locality as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, stout, triquetrous, congested, abbreviated, successively single few flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract near the base and a thin, tubular floral bract.
